Anthem is a mixed-income, transit-oriented development sited on a vacant, former industrial site in the city’s evolving Commercial Triangle. The six-story multifamily community offers 450 units, with 427 earmarked for market-rate and 23 reserved as affordable housing units.
A light-filled lobby with a lounge, cafe, library, and conference room is designed with neutral tones accented by green and amber hues, leather, and wood detailing. A ‘jewel box’ leasing office is encased by metal mesh to create a design focal point. The 12,000 square feet of onsite amenity space also includes co-working areas, a maker space, a pet spa, a chef-style kitchen, three activity courtyards, and an outdoor pool. The building has a structured parking garage with 564 spaces, and approximately 6,500 square feet of ground-floor retail.
Anthem has brought substantial public realm improvements, including the creation of new public outdoor space with multimodal connections, improved pedestrian walking paths and sidewalks, and a public dog park. Local artists were commissioned to create murals representing the spirit of Everett, which were incorporated into the design of the front façade and interior residential courtyards.
