The overall interior and exterior architecture was developed with the idea of providing a fun and creative environment. A "Main Street" corridor links the separate youth and teen areas, and leads to common areas such as the pool, gymnasium, and computer center. Vibrant color schemes reflect the personality of each program area, and striking curved walls with recessed shapes accentuate a dynamic and youthful atmosphere.
FYI: The Gerald and Darlene Jordan Boys & Girls Club serves as the flagship club in the Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston's program and is also used as a design model on the Boys & Girls Clubs of America's Club Safety and Design web site, www.kidbuilding.org.
